Brixton: snow
Sadly, a decent snowfall is very rare sight in London, but on the 8th/9th January, 2003, a sizeable snow storm hit Brixton, transforming the urban landscape.
Admittedly, compared to New York, it was a mere dusting, but by London standards, it was a blizzard!
Naturally, I was out with my camera before you could say, 'Jack Frost', documenting the snow covered streets and parks.

Barrier Block in the snow. No amount of snow is ever going to make the block look magical, but it's definitely an improvement!

Crunching through the snow around Brockwell Park was a beautiful experience. People had been busy in the park building various snow sculptures, including a hermaphroditic snowperson and even an igloo!
