Brixton Shall be Saved – by Christian bagpipes and Bontempi organs

'Brixton Shall be Saved' - archive photo

Brixton’s always proved a magnet for tub-thumping religious types bellowing out their beliefs, and one of my favourites were this bunch of bagpipe wielding Korean Christians, seen here in March 2001.

They made irregular appearances around the town centre – sometimes by the tube station, other times opposite the Ritzy – but failed to win over Brixton with their bagpipe/Bontempi organ singing combo.

Anyone else remember them or seen them since?
