
I love seeing steam trains puffing through Brixton, but today’s train was a little different in that the locomotive was at the back of the train – and going backwards!

The loco – just about visible here as it crosses Coldharbour Lane – is the ex-Southern Railway rebuilt Merchant Navy Class no 35028 Clan Line running as scrapped classmate 35017 Belgian Marine.
