We recently enjoyed a pleasant walk from Broadstairs along the beach to nearby Ramsgate.

We rocked the to the impressive marina but the town centre was a bit on the disappointing side with lots of rubbish 60s architecture.

It was good to see the Old Town being regenerated but the place still feels very down at heel.

Abandoned since 2005, almost all of Margate's Dreamland amusement park has been swept away, with just the cinema and part of the Scenic Railway surviving.

Some photos from our walk around Broadstairs in Kent, yesterday afternoon. I love walking around seaside towns out of season! 

The weather was really dramatic when we were there - one minute it would be freezing cold and hammering down with hail, and minutes later the sun was out!
