Covent Garden photos: market views and curious street artists

Covent Garden is a ruddy weird place to be on on a busy Saturday afternoon.

To get to the market, you have to pass rows of bizarrely painted ‘human statues’ who stand there motionless for theĀ  greater part of the day, pausing only to enact a brief set of moves whenever someone is entertained enough to drop a few coins their way.
