Screw the wedding - let's PARTY! Free Brixton clubs tonight/Fri.

The anarchist bunting is nearly finished, the bands are booked, the zombie bride go-go dancers are ready to go and the magician is still insisting that he’s going to make the Royal Family disappear onstage tonight – IN FRONT OF YOUR VERY EYES!

Yep, it’s the Offline Club’s double dose of ‘Screw the royal wedding’ celebrations. Here’s what we’ve got coming up tonight and tomorrow – and they’re both absolutely FREE!

Thursday 28th April at the Stockwell Grosvenor
17 Sidney Road Stockwell, London, SW9 0TP 9-2am
F*ck the royal wedding with an Offline anti-royal wedding special!
BARKING BATERIA samba drummers beating the death march for William and Kate, The Actionettes performing some extra special go-go ZOMBIE BRIDE moves, SIMON SUBVERT the spooky magician making the royal family disappear IN FRONT OF YOUR VERY OWN EYES and the return of trash garage rockers DR VAMPIRE playing live, VIC LAMBRUSCO busting some rhymes, plus there’ll be special guests, great DJs, protest movies and more.

Friday 29th April at the Prince Albert
418 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton SW9 8LF 9-3am
Let’s drink our way through the nightmare of the Royal Wedding and go crazy to a fantastic soundclash with the beautiful country sounds of Nashville’s KELLY PAIGE versus the the punk rock soundtrack of Brixton’s hottest Ramones cover band, S.E.D.A.T.E.D.. We’ll also have the usual beer-swilling gang of DJs to keep you grooving till 3am

  1. LOL. No knighthood for you, Mr S!

I can’t get excited about the royal wedding, but I can’t get excited about hating it, either.

I used to be a full on Royal-Hater but I’m afraid I’m in the “well we’ve got a monarchy and it’d be too much fag to change and I can’t see the advantage of a republic anyway” camp these days….

    Cool posters though 🙂
